Thermal Stress Analysis of Neck Tube into Vertical Cryogenic Insulated Cylinders using ANSYS Software: A Review

Naveen Tripathi, Shailendra Kumar, Vikash Dwivedi

Abstract

Materials have a significant impact on the progress of one discipline, cryogenics. Technologies based on cryogenics are used in many different fields, including metallurgy, chemistry, the electricity sector, medicine, rocket propulsion, space simulation, food processing via refrigeration, and many more. The current status of research and anticipated advancements in the field of cryogenic materials throughout the coming century cover a wide range of topics. We quickly review the background of the creation of cryogenics materials. Then, we assess where this science is at the moment and consider patterns in research and development, which might provide some hints about potential future advancements. Writing about the past and even assessing the condition of cryogenic materials now is simple, but predicting the future is quite challenging. This chapter will, to the greatest degree feasible, discuss the history, the state of play, and the prospects for cryogenics materials in the twenty-first century.
