Abstract

The power industry in India has now entered new era of large power generations and highly automatic control system. In today’s era the SCADA has played a very auspicious role in power generation industry because of its worldwide adaptability, extendibility, flexibility etc. The huge advancement in SCADA most of industries has jumped into automation field because of its big market. SCADA systems having both hardware and Software components. DMS offers a utility company's distribution area comprehensive support, including all operational, maintenance, technical, financial, and administrative aspects from planning to installation in production within facilities. SCADA stands for “Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition.” In the industrial sector, SCADA systems are frequently utilized for process control and analysis. It is made up of a SCADA power distribution monitoring system, setup software, and a PLC. A PLC is used in the system to gather electrical parameters of devices and various intelligent instruments that are present on site. The switch will upload them to the monitoring system via SCADA. The objective of this project is to create a system that offers all the features users require and fixes a few common problems. Since only companies right now use PLCs and SCADAs, we're trying to demonstrate here how commercial buildings may also make use of these systems to conserve energy and obtain the services they require.
