Video Telephony using Cable TV Distribution Network

Abstract


This paper focuses to implement video telephony using cable TV distribution network. We had used coaxial cable which is main part of cable TV network and it provides efficient bandwidth for video telephony. The major design issue to implement full-duplex communication channel for audio-video information and establish switching control section for routing the signal to the destination. We had chosen coaxial cable for communication link because it is already established as part of cable TV network which is available at almost all households
