Smart Transportation System For Solving Traffic Problems In Urban Areas

Abstract


In this paper, we have examined the importance of smart Transportation systems in controlling traffic problems and preventing the increase of traffic jams and overcrowding in cities. When people break the traffic rule intentionally or in an emergency, it may cause traffic problems and also when the migrants move from rural to urban areas for good resources and infrastructure in cities then it causes overcrowding and creates multitudes. Challenges are faced by the people when they travel somewhere for their regular activities. Many people have tried at strange hours, such as early in the morning or late at night, as well as tried different ways to avoid traffic jams to go to their offices and for their regular activities but the same problem is faced by the people every time. Therefore, the Intelligent transportation system (ITS) is a concept of a smart transportation system and it is based on a research paper on an IT-based solution Traffic congestion. This system helps us to know traffic problems in different urban areas. This system helps to reduce the traffic in cities. Intelligent transportation system (ITS) applications provide travers with importation information while improving the safety and efficiency of the transportation system in various urban sectors. It is a project for human beings to provide better life and reduce human efforts for the better adoption of Smart attributes.
