Information Communication Technology in HealthCare

Abstract


Professionals involved in diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, pharmaceutical prescription, referral, information retrieval and transmission, documentation, and transactions might benefit from ICT in healthcare. The involvement of ICT in healthcare has a tremendous impact on improving the quality, accessibility, and efficacy of healthcare for all citizens. The use of information and communication technologies in a wide range of functions that have an impact on the health sector. Every country strives to improve the quality of its healthcare while while containing rising expenses. Patients and clinicians can consult online via emails, phone calls, emergency evacuations, and advance transfer of photos and data from ambulances to cut down on intervention times in hospital emergency rooms. Many developed countries have not yet completed their ICT implementation. The main purpose of this study is to explain how information and communication technology (ICT) has aided healthcare in various parts of the world.
