This research work prove the synchronizing quality of HVAC-HVDC parallel tie-line is different in Hydro, Thermal and Nuclear Power Grid. The synchronizing quality of HVAC-HVDC parallel tie-line is superior in Thermal Power Grid as compare to the Hydro & Nuclear Power Grid. This project work is also proves the synchronizing quality of HVAC-HVDC parallel tie-line is superior in Nuclear Power Grid as compare to the Hydro Power Grid. The synchronizing quality of HVAC-HVDC parallel tie-line in Hydro, Thermal & Nuclear Power Grid is judged by the settling time of frequency & tie-line power deviation of power grid in case of ∆PL6 = 0.01 p.u. load change in power grid-1. In this research work synchronization of Hydro, Thermal & Nuclear Power Grid is done by HVAC-HVDC parallel tie-line with traditional integral controller.
