Examples of CAD software and the newest developments in CAD technology

Ashish Kumar

Abstract

The cross-technology of product design used in the engineering field using electronic computer technology is known as computer-aided design, or CAD. As CAD applications become more widespread and well-liked, CAD technology is moving in the direction of becoming open, integrated, and intelligent. The CAD industry is developing. Today, only numerical tasks, such as calculations, analyses, and drawings, can be handled by CAD technology in mechanical design.
The 3D CAD software for microcomputers demonstrated the trend of rapid development. This essay describes the history and current uses of computer-aided design (CAD) technology as well as its evolving traits and general direction of development.
