Equipment Used in Aquaponic Farming
Abstract
The United Nations predicts the global population to increase from 7.2 million in 2013 to 9 billion by 2050. There are various ways to increase the production of a single food that combines the combination of aquaponics with the farm itself. Food production and its impact on the environment are a major concern in the current human and global climate change. Promoting food production by combining aquaponics with traditional vertical farming methods can produce a very high yield per sq ft. It can also be seen as a promising and sustainable solution to overcome the environmental impact and the food crisis.
