Experimental Investigation of Weld Strength in Pulsed Current TIG Welding of AA 5052 Alloys – A Technical Review

TIG welding, also known as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, is a method in which metal parts are welded together using heat or pressure. Inert gas is used to cover the electrodes and weld pools. Superior alloys such as stainless steel, aluminium, and magnesium alloys must be used to make high-quality weld connections. In 1825, the aluminium metal was conceived and produced. This project is based on the 5052 aluminum alloy which is one of nine types of aluminum alloy. 5052 alloys are used in applications such as intercoolers, oil coolers, and radiators. Tungsten Inert Gas welding has primarily been investigated on aluminium alloys such as 6061, 6351, and 5083.
