Abstract

Abstract

Air pollution i.e. the toxic pollutants which are present in the air is one of the most important factors which concern the world. As we all know that Air pollution may have evolved from natural sources of the earth and air pollutants that are present in the atmosphere such as CO2, CO, NO2, SO2, and O3 has a great effect on people's hygiene and health. This problem is not only suffered by the major cities of developing countries but also the major cities of the developed countries facing this issue. Hence to improve this particular situation a real-time Air quality system and Air Pollution Monitoring System is necessary. To improve the pollution level we have developed an Arduino based air pollution system which checks on the pollution level. This system is a combination of low cost and a small-sized sensor which is connected with the Arduino Microcontroller and this system also includes an LCD screen to display result. This system having consistent stability, rapid response recovery and long life features. This system is also affordable because of low-cost equipment and user-friendly. The system is applicable for mobile measurement too because of the minimum power requirement.
