Abstract

ABSTRACT

In day by day increasing the pollution & cost of cement and sand their replacing material is necessary. In this investigation marble slurry and glass powder was used as a partial replacing material. The proportion of glass powder was 5-25% in interval of 5% by total weight of cement and marble slurry 10-50% in interval of 10% by total weight  of sand.  This study investigates the performance of concrete mixture in terms of slump, density, compressive strength 28 days,  and Flexural strength of beam 28 days  .These Concrete specimens were deep cured in water under normal atmospheric temperature. On the basis of result maximum Compressive & Flexural strength achieved at 15 % of replacement of cement by glass powder and 30 % of replacement of sand by marble slurry. The result of variational mix of concrete on all age when compared to normal concrete its use should be promoted for better performance as well as for environmental sustainability.

Key Words:- Concrete, Marble slurry, Glass Powder Workability, Compressive Strength, Flexural Strength
