Abstract

Abstract

India is the country of agriculture, more than half of our population is dependent on agriculture and most of our national income comes from it. Development of agriculture to us means having an economically forward country. The main objective of this project is to increase the involvement of automation and robotics in the field of agriculture. This paper deals with the idea of an automatic sprinkler system, which can be used to water plants according to their needs. The automation of a manual sprinkler has been done by using Arduino and soil moisture sensor. Also, the inverse relationship between resistance and moisture can be seen here. Due to the use of this effective system, the wastage of water can be reduced to a great extent.
