Epoxy resin strengthened with marble powder particles is prepared by ultrasonic mixing strategy. Pin-on-Disc wear trial of the developed composite is done concurring with Taguchi optimisation. An orthogonal array is displayed and analysed the affecting parameters like fraction of marble powder reinforcement, load, sliding speed and track diameter on the composite. Signal to noise ratio analysis optimises the parametric conditions that yield minimum wear rate, minimum frictional force and minimum coefficient of friction. ANOVA demonstrates that speed assumes an indispensable part in expanding dry sliding wear of epoxy composites.
