Design of a Capacitive Loaded and Composite Split Ring Resonator Based Monopole Patch Antenna

Abstract


Abstract
Here we have designed a monopole antenna at 2.8 GHz frequency and then we have loaded a metamaterial unit cell at the top of the monopole antenna and the same unit cell is also used as composite split ring resonator (CSRR) and incorporates with the same antenna. In both of the cases we have calculate the resonant frequency and gain of the antenna.
