FACTORS CONTRIBUTING POSITIVE SAFETY CULTURE AT WORKPLACE

Abstract

Safety culture means the beliefs of an individual, attitude of a person, work ethics and values, perceptions towards an incident all the factors together and relation between each factor describes the safety which is the part of organization culture. By implementing or introducing the safety culture in a workplace, incidents can reduced on a positive note can be made zero also, decrease in accidents means decrease in compensation money which leads to profit of industry.Around the world the term safety culture has gained first priority, lot of research is going on to develop better ways to implement and secure the safety culture. So here the study showcase about how culture of safety can be implemented in work place so that the incidents can be avoided of any kind from near miss to fatality. Various steps to be followed while implementing the safety culture.
