EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES (Seismic Zone IV): A critical review of literature

This paper refers to the protection of civil structures (present in the seismic zone IV) against earthquake hazard. In urban India most of the conventional structures and existing structures don’t follow any building codes and doesn’t possess any seismic guard against earthquake hazards. Seismic tremors comprise one of the best risks of life and property on the earth. Because of abruptness of their event, they are least perceived and generally feared. The seismic tremor safe development is viewed as vital to relieve their belongings. This paper presents the brief essentials about the development of earthquake resisting structures are able to maximize the execution time during seismic conditions to save the human life and reduces the damage impact on structures.References
