Numerical Methods of Optimization: A Review
Abstract
Optimization is an approach to finding the best result under given conditions. Several difficulties are occurred with the optimization of large scale problem. This paper is a review of numerical method of optimization techniques. Here discussed about different methods of numerical optimization for linear and nonlinear constrained and unconstrained system problem. Here we discussed about linear programing, integer programing, quadratic programing and nonlinear programing. The review is genera in nature, without considering any special category like convex problem, multidisciplinary optimization, multi- objective optimization etc. The necessary theory behind numerical method of optimization is discuss in this paper.
