Protection of three phase induction machine is very important in industrial applications and it plays a vital role in our everyday life. This protection system protects the three phase induction motor from single phasing, under voltage, over voltage over current, and over temperature. Induction motors are kept in operation through tracking its condition in a continuous manner to minimize their unplanned down times. To avoid the consequence of unexpected failure of critical equipment which results in extended process shutdown, costly machinery repair, and health and safety problems, the aim of this research work is to adopt a simple and cost effective solution for electrical faults that is based on analyzing the motor current and voltage signals.
