Energy system overview and the management of electric vehicles

POORVI OMER, RACHIT SRIVASTAVA

Abstract

One of the practical technology solutions being researched to address the growing climate change challenges is the transition to an electric transportation sector. The possibility of intelligent cars and shared mobility programmes is also part of this transformation. The only source of power for an electric vehicle's propulsion and maintenance of a comfortable driving environment is stored electric energy. This dependency is a symptom that you need healthy energy. Management based on the design and operation of the vehicle's energy system being optimised, namely technologies for storing and using energy. This study seeks to by analysing the pertinent literature give a thorough examination of the electric vehicle's overall energy management in terms of the major mechanisms for consumption and storage. It outlines the many energy storage mechanisms used in electric vehicles. More in-depth information about Li-ion batteries is provided along with a description of the various energy storage methods used in electric vehicles.
