Abstract


This article described the lessons learned from the workshop and training programme in the field of environmental studies, particularly sustainable development. Nowadays, all the countries address on environmental challenges and ensure on secure society. Sustainable development focuses on three pillars, which includes environment, society and economy. This workshop provided a platform for understanding and teaching of sustainable development and its importance to both undergraduate and post graduate students. This workshop, also threw light to carryout research, and provided solutions to different problems on unsustainable development. This workshop also insisted on integration of sustainable development into the day-to-day life and occupation.
