The current business environment is characterized by stiff competition. The players in the industry always strive to come up with innovative strategies to outdo their rivals with a view of enhancing their profitability. Previous studies have indicated that having in place highly effective health and safety systems can enhance the level of productivity of the employees. This always results into an increase in the level of profitability of the organizations. In the recent past, there had been an intense competition among the banks. Therefore, each of them should strive to come up with strategies of outdoing their rivals in the industry. Just like any other organization, banks always strive to ensure that they have highly productive employees. However, they are always faced with a number of challenges, which reduce the productivity of employees. Among the numerous challenges, being faced by the banks is lack of highly effective health and safety systems capable of preventing health related problems. This research was mainly aimed at investigating the occupational risk factors contributing towards musculoskeletal disorders among VDT users bank office employees.
