Assessment of Operational Productivity of Worker in Composing Industry by Micro and Memo Methodology in Casting Process

Aditya Tiwary, Aashish Yadav

Abstract

The micro and memo movement is about the technique of recording and examining the timing of primary factors of an operation. The goal is to reach the exceptional approach of performing the operation. The micro and memo action crew of approach is based totally on the notion of dividing human activity. It is divided into actions or organizations of moves in accordance to the motive for which they are made. Therbligs refer to motions of the human body at workplace. Mental activities are also associated with them. In the casting procedure, a sample is made in the form of the preferred phase. The pattern is of wood, plastic or metal as the case may be. Simple designs can be completed in one batch, while more complex designs might be completed in two pieces, known as split patterns. A cut up sample has a pinnacle or higher section. The top area is referred to as a cope and the backside or decrease part is known as a drag. Both stable and cut up patterns can have cores inserted to entire the last phase shape. The separation line is the location where the cope and drag split. By melting metal into a liquid, putting the metal into a mould, and then removing the mould material or casting, metals are transformed into pieces. The most common metal alloy processed is aluminium and cast iron. However, several metals can be treated, including zinc, copper, tin, and magnesium. In this study, evaluation of working efficiency of worker in manufacturing industry by micro and memo technique in foundry operation has been done. Various results have been obtained and have been discussed.
