The distance of electricity transmission gets longer and longer, and capacity is also increasing, the voltage level by transport is becoming more and higher, while the stability problem of power system is more and more prominent. If the power system's stability is destroyed, it can cause a very serious problem. This report describes the computational technique used to solve the large and complex mathematical problem in an easier and convenient way. To solve such a large power system equation, we are using MATLAB Simulation, It calculates large number of load flow equations and solves nonlinear equation in very efficient and error freeway. To solve nonlinear power equation we are using Runge-kutta method. In this report the state space representation is used as it solely based on matrix representation which is quite easier way to represent such a large power system. The Eigen value of the matrix representing the swing equation gives the frequency of oscillation, and after the study of Eigen values one can easily interpret whether the system is stable or not, this method is applicable under normal running condition and even under perturbation due to change in small load. With the help of the above method used one can interpret up to how much load the system withstands in stable way and when the system will fail to the loading condition and goes to unstable region. With this one can also interpret that which machine is sharing how much percentage of frequency of oscillation with the help of participation factor.
