Modelling and Simulation DFIG based Wind power generator System

Ashish Kumar Singhal, Megha kharkhate

Abstract

Abstract

This system allows a variable speed operation over a large range. The converter compensates the difference between the mechanical angular frequency and grid frequency by injecting a rotor current with a variable frequency. Both during typical activity and deficiencies the conduct of the generator is in this manner administered by the power converter and its controllers. The power converter consists of two converters, the machine-side converter and grid-side converter, which are controlled independently of each other.
