Abstract

Abstract

The power generated by pedaling is the transformation of energy which utilizes the human efforts to drive the wheel. It is a very common form of energy used in various types of applications like transportation for a long time ago. Altogether this form of energy can be utilized in various aspects. This study mainly focuses on the pedal-powered washing mechanism. The basics of this machine depend on the Principle of gear system which states that the Mechanism of the pedaling can be converted into rotary motion. The main objective is to reduce the initial cost of the present time washing machines which are usually electrically powered driven and consume a lot of energy [2]. Altogether this project also reduces human efforts especially in rural India where clothes washing is still a hassle and time- consuming activity. In our nation, where agriculture is still the biggest occupation among the countrymen, many people still are not economically sustained to adapt to electrically powered washing machines due to poor financial conditions. Keywords: Human Powered Washing Machine, Bearing, Gearing, Pedaling, Power Level
