Abstract

Abstract
This paper presents a study stator voltage control method for induction motor torque control using MATLAB simulation. This is to improve induction motor speed control. Speed sensor is used to control the speed in feedback and complete simulation of the direct torque control in closed-loop. The system is to be tested by use a MATLAB/ Simulink program. The different control methods are used to control the speed of induction motor but the first of them direct torque control is used to control speed of induction motor and also this method superior control planning for torque control in induction motor. Second method is studies as a back up to the field-oriented control method or vector control method. There are two control methods with different operating principle, but their aim is same. The stator voltage vector method is selected. This control method is performed by a simulation package using MATLAB/Simulink technique.
