Abstract
This project is an experimental attempt to study the effect of boric acid addition on the fiber glass tensile properties. First, one must know how the fiber glass materials be made and what are their structures. Then, it is required to study the boric acid structure, its uses and effect on other composites. The boric acid is added to fiber glass material, mixed together and then subjected to a tensile load to see the behavior of specimen when added with 20% volume of polyester mixed with boric acid. It was found that the specimen with boric acid addition is easily broken down, while the specimen without boric acid has more strength.
