Finite Element Analysis of Pistons Made of Steel and Al-4032

In this paper, stress analysis of pistons made up of two different materials is discussed. The three-dimensional model of the piston is modeled using Pro/Engineer software. The finite element analysis (FEA) is performed in Mechanica module of Pro/Engineer software to analyze the various results and compare the results of stress analysis of piston made up of two different materials. The results can be used to choose the suitable material for manufacturing of pistons.
