Design Simulation and Analysis of Zeta Converter for Speed Control of BLDC Motor
Abstract
In recent years, usage of variable speed drive systems has been increasing in various low power applications like automobile industries, domestic appliances, etc. To save the energy consumption of devices, there is a necessity in the usage of green and eco-friendly electronics. For improvement in power factor and speed control, BLDC with Zeta converter is proposed in this paper. Zeta converter is used for voltage regulation due to its wide range of speed control of BLDC Motor by controlling Voltage of DC link Capacitor. And unity power factor with low harmonics distortion is achieved. Here simulation environment with PSIM Version 9.0.3.400 Software.
