Abstract

Traditions of similarity in test methods have evaluated different efficiencies of different inhibitors. Electrostatically adsorbed green organic inhibitors act as mixed type double layer interactions to steel surfaces. Hydro distillation of plant originated oils is good inhibitors to corrosion of steel, achieved from medicinal grounds. Drinking water corrosion responds maximum numbers of ionic variables to deal with additive mechanical variables for studies in corrosion of steel. Intentional injections of HCl to remove calcareous materials in pipelines to increase oil production have introduced additional corrosion of pipelines for protection by inhibitors. In oil and chemical industry, inhibitors have considered as first line of defense against corrosion.
