Abstract

Present paper deals with the review of the analysis of base materials thermal properties. Nanoparticles are reinforced into the base material to analyse their thermal properties using different numerical models. Mixture rule and Maxwell model are considered to analyse the thermal properties of Al6061/Al7075 base material thermal properties reinforced with silicon carbide, aluminium oxide and copper nanoparticles. From the analysis, it has been found that addition of the nanoparticles into the base material affect the operational thermal properties of the material.
