Abstract

As India is developing country and demand for the high rise building and other construction industries are growing  day by day, along with these demand for non renewable resources, concrete making materials are required. As there is demand for the materials used, there is scarcity too of the materials used. Also there are various supplementary waste in concrete like fly ash, silica fumes, etc. The main objective of our project is to make eco friendly and economical High Performance Concrete (HPC). In this project we are replacing alccofine along with fly ash to increase the strength of concrete for grade M50 in different proportions. The percentage of fly ash is taken as 20% constant and OPC is replaced by alccofine as 3%, 5%, 7%.The test results are then compared with the conventional concrete for 3, 7, 28 days of curing period. The results are increased by 8.8%, 17.5%, 28.2% for compression test on replacing of OPC by alccofine for 3, 5, 7% respectively. Compression test, Split tensile and Flexural test are done for these grade of concrete.
