Literature Review on Structural Role of Diagrids in High-Rise Structure under dynamic forces
Abstract
Abstract – The Present literature Review focus on the response of high-rise structure using diagrids structural elements, various research work is conducted on diagrids by making variation in diagrids shape, Angle of Inclination, Location, and geometric properties. The main aim of this Literature review is to find suitable research gap on topic related to diagrids. This review paper summarizes various research work achieved by diagrid structural system for high rise structure
and confirms that the structure has larger lateral stiffness & good seismic performance. Based
on the favorable performance of concrete‐filled steel tubes, this research paper advises the use of diagrid structural systems for tall structure. Most of the researchers concluded their study considering structural performance and stability which depends on structural Forces, Moments, Displacement, Storey Drifts, Natural Frequency’s and Base Shear.
Key Words: RC frame, Steel Frame, Diagrids, Geometric Properties, Angle of Diagrids.
