Comparative Study of RC Elevated Water Tank

Designing a water tank requires a good approximation of water demands which is depends on the estimation of population growth rate and design life of the tank and the per capita water consumption rate. Due to rapid increase in urbanization, development activities and enormous need by the public the rate of water consumption increasing day by day. It would difficult task to supply the water directly from the source, it should be stored and treated. In this paper we are analyzing the elevated circular and intze water tank by using Staad Pro. After conducting a manual analysis and design of water parameters, the findings extracted from all the final graphs lead us to the conclusion that, in comparison to elevated circular water tanks, elevated Intze water tanks exhibit lower moment values. This observation indicates that the elevated Intze water tank design is more economical and potentially offers cost savings.References
