Abstract

Abstract

This finding is an outcome of the research carried out on the patch with the introduction of metamaterial. A “Dual Split Hexagonal Ring” metamaterial structure is implemented in the ground plane to modify the parameters of patch antenna i.e., circular. This recommended antenna operates on 2.42 GHz. Circular patch alone was not efficient and cannot be applicable for any applications, therefore a dual ring split metamaterial structure was implemented to achieve quality improvement.
