Design & Analysis of Overhead Water Tank by Numerical and Software Techniques
Abstract
Water is one of the most important natural resource for the existence of human on the face of this earth. Water flow cycle is a complex network in which water from its original source is passed through multiple channels so as to reach in the consumable form. Overhead Tanks for an important reservoir for temporary water storage which is attached with the proper channels so as to ensure the flow to the desired locations. The present paper deals with all aspects of an overhead tank. Numerical approach has been used to calculate and estimate various parameters of design and also the designed structure has been analysed on STAAD Pro software.
