Sudhir Shrivastav, Subash Saxena, Rajeev Kansal

Abstract

The construction work is a difficult one and is associated with different changes. These changes generally lead to issuance of various orders. Classifying the reason of change order is critical in order to keep away from possible changes in further project. Decisions are taken every day in construction processes based on information available (which is most of the time incomplete), assumptions and the personal knowledge of the construction professionals. Hence, project changes or modifications are unavoidable as they are a fact-of-life at all phases of a project’s life cycle. Organization changes efficiently are crucial to the achievement of a construction scheme. Changes in construction projects necessitate an integrated resolution to regulation and coordination between the procedure of certification, design, process, flow, information, cost, schedule and workers. These research works summarize different characteristics of the existing construction change management method and give a complete literature review.
