Comparison of Estimates, BIM based software VS conventional method

Abstract


Now a day technology is changing rapidly, from first computer to AI it is making our lives more simpler and less error prone. Construction is one sector that has adapted to new technologies swiftly and successfully. The long process of sketching quantities by hand from paper copy to CAD has been streamlined thanks to the introduction of BIM. It's common knowledge that the building industry uses a broad range of estimating tools, but there are always innovative ways to make the process easier. Research shows that including BIM in cost projections does not lead to any reduction. A new wave of QTO tools is on the horizon, as evidenced by the rise of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in recent years. This paper aims to approach BIM based software in a simpler way to achieve full cost for a building and comparing with a more practiced method.
