Abstract

In recent years, home fires have claimed a growing number of lives and pieces of property. Since it is very flammable, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) can burn even some distance away from the spill. Poor-quality rubber tubes or instances in which the regulator is not turned off are to blame for most fire incidents. Due to the regulator's malfunction, the hob is currently receiving gas from the regulator. Gas leaks might occur if the stove knob is accidentally turned on. As an alternative fuel, the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Kit is frequently fitted inside the vehicle, raising the risk of accidents should a leak develop. Since these types of appliances or kits are automatic in operation, they are not always under the supervision of operating personnel. As a result, the risks associated with their use include the possibility that a gas leak may occur while the appliance is in standby mode, resulting in a significant buildup of combustible gas, which could cause an explosion if the leak is not discovered promptly. The goal of the current research is to develop a safe method of identifying any pressurised gas system malfunctions to stop the buildup of combustible gases and avoid damage or explosion. The system ought to be able to offer a monitoring system that is affordable to produce and can be easily accessible. It is possible to use the project system we designed in household settings such as homes, schools, colleges, and hospitals.
