Rectangular Patch Antenna with Dual and Triple-band using Complementary Split ring Resonator (CSRR)

Nail Alaoui

Abstract

This paper presents the idea of a Complementary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR)-based multiband microstrip patch antenna. By etching the CSRR in the ground plane of the conventional rectangular patch antenna, several bands are obtained, thereby miniaturizing the conventional antenna. This article examined and contrasted the results of the microstrip antenna with two, four and six CSRR inclusions. Because of the quasi-static resonance properties of the complementary split square resonators, the design of the multiband antenna was made feasible.
