A Preliminary Study of Solar Bicycle using Crank-Lever Mechanism

There are many types of bicycle in the world such as normal bicycle that people need topaddle for it to move and electricbicycle that can only be sufficient for an hour. Chain drive power transmission have some disadvantages will motivate the direct drive for bicycle. The idea of a solar bicycle without chain drive came in mind. The idea is to make thebicycle last longer and can be automatically recharge when the bicycle is not in use bythe renewable solar energy. A shade of solar panel over bicycle generate more solar energy as well as it can provide shade to the rider. The solar energywill be absorbed by the solar panel to generate the power. The power that hadbeen absorbed by the panel can be used directly by the motor if the power matches thepower requirement. If not, the motor will use the power from a battery. When thebicycle was not in use during the day, the solar panel will charge the battery. The systemwill make bicycle operate more efficiently.
