Analysis Of Routing Protocols In Manet

Abstract


Mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) may be set up without any infrastructure or centralized controller. It could be built quickly in rural regions, military zones, and in emergency cases like earthquake. 3 unique types of routing protocols were classified according to their work's nature that are Proactive, Reactive and Hybrid routing protocols. Because of the mobility function of MANET nodes, routing protocols play critical role in determining the network efficiency in which the network topology is changed frequently. Many research are carried out to analyze network performance and specify the excellent routing protocol using unique simulation tools. in this paper, the performance of network is analyzed and evaluated when heterogeneous nodes are configured with these three types of protocols below heavy visitors load (VOIP). The end result of our Analysis suggests that OLSR protocol has the highest throughput amongst others at the same time as DSR protocol indicates the great performance in phrases of community load. Generally, the overall performance of routing protocol differs depending at the network type and use.
