Abstract
Electroluminescence behavior of MEH-PPV (Poly [2-methoxy-5-(2’-ethyl-hexoxy)-1, 4 phenylenevinylene]), Alq3 (Tris (8-hydroxyquinolinato) aluminium) and P3HT as the emissive layer has been investigated in the organic light emitting diode (OLED). 2D numerical simulations have been performed using finite element method from device simulation software ALTLAS from Silvaco Inc. Effect of doping concentration and thickness of active layer on device performance has been studied.
