Abstract

Abstract

A Magnetic air suspension or a magnetic levitation has turned out to be a very capable technique in the fast common transport system because of its frictionless motion. Due to open-loop system, the elevation in magnetic air is an extremely unstable system; and hence to stabilise this it desire a controller in order to its stabilization and position-tracing. Because of its nonlinear behaviour, its controller implementation is a tough task. The PID controllers have proficient chain of anatomical variation and development. Therefore, this paper is presenting the comparative analysis of step response and square wave response of various forms of PID controllers such as simple PID, PID with feedback and 2DOF PID controllers. In this paper a relative investigation has been done for this unstable maglev system. By Simulation outcome it has been shown that in each state of conversion from one to another considerably impresses the performance of the system. And it observed that the 2-DOF controller developed considerably the performance of the maglev system.
