Triangle Cut Circle Shape Bending Antenna for Wide Band Application

Abstract


In this article, an antenna has been simulated for the frequency range of 2.00 GHz to 13.00 GHz, i.e., wideband applications under simulation Software CST using bending material. This bending material is having very less dielectric constant of 1.7. For bending the antenna, Jeans material is used. The return loss of bending antenna is -26 dB at 3.837 GHz resonant frequency. Also, the loss tangent of the antenna is 0.025. It covers the bandwidth from 3.43 GHz to 12.30 GHz which is approx. 112.77%. In this presented antenna, the ground is unfinished having shape is in the form of rectangular. Simulated results like 3-D pattern, return loss versus frequency graph and polar plot are presented in this paper.
