Plus Slotted Circular Patch Antenna for WiMax/WLAN Applications

Abstract


A wideband compact circular patch microstrip antenna is presented for various wireless systems such as WLAN and WiMax applications. The proposed antenna has been fabricated and the return loss bandwidth is measured. The simulated and measured antenna such as return loss, bandwidth and gain are presented. The Experimental result shows that the proposed antenna presents a bandwidth of 78.81% with the maximum gain of 6.2 dBi.
