Abstract

Abstract: The basic objectives of this paper have to increase the profitability of crop production, improve product quality and protect the environment using sensors. Internet of Things has enabled the agriculture crop monitoring easy and efficient. The various types of sensors that can be used to calculate the statistical parameters of an agricultural fields and it gives a stateof-art of wireless sensor and provide solutions applied to precision agriculture (PA). In this, we bring together recent novel sensors and their applications in agriculture. Awareness of wireless sensor network technology in order to monitor key environmental parameters such as the temperature, humidity and illumination. Different types of sensors are used to collect the information of crop conditions and environmental changes and this information is transmitted to the farmer (devices) that initiates corrective actions. Farmers are connected and aware of the conditions of the agricultural field at anytime and anywhere.
