Retaining wall is a structure whose primary purpose is to retain some material on one side or both sides of it. Architects and civil engineers are continuously looking for new and efficient methods to cover large spaces using the least materials. Therefore, the need of new techniques in the designing of retaining wall structure is targeted inorder to be conservative. Folded plate is a concept in which every Structural Engineer is interested due to its efficiency, architectural look, cost effectiveness etc. Hence in this paper the conceptual and basics study of folded plate in triangular pattern that is V type Shaped is done as Retaining wall.
