Design and Fabrication of Electric Car Jack

Shubhaseesh Srivastava

Abstract

Humans have always been enthralled by new scientific discoveries and technological advancements. The desire to produce something better in order to address the shortcomings of the prior iteration paved the path for ever-increasing technological demands. The automobile industry is another industry where new ideas or inventions are proposed on a daily basis to aid the industry's growth in all ways possible. With new innovations comes the obligation of constantly monitoring and improving the modifications. Vehicles, like any other piece of equipment, are constantly examined for the different repairs that need to be made during their operation. One conceivable area of development is vehicle repair in the case of a breakdown while in use. The bursting of a tyre or any other comparable condition while driving a car can result in a very dangerous situation that puts our lives in jeopardy. So, in this century of rapid change, we present a new technique of fixing a vehicle with the assistance of an electronic car jack that uses an infrared sensor to avoid any catastrophes while driving. The infrared sensor aids in the detection of any tyre position changes. The electric car jack, which comprises of a D.C. motor to automatically lift the vehicle by getting electrical power from the car battery, can be used to repair the vehicle after a change is detected. This device will assist the driver in recognising and correcting damage to any of the tyres with the least amount of human effort.
