Load Based Speed Control Feature to Improve Fuel Economy of Vehicle

Over the period of time fossil fuels are being priced exorbitantly and hence it will result into automotive industries have to develop engines with great energy saving potential. This is possible with the help of Load Based Speed Control Feature which is used to improve fuel economy of the vehicle. This feature gives the restriction over the traditional engine speed at lower gears depending on load, so driver gets encouraged upshifting in higher gears which ultimately improves the fuel economy. To achieve this with greater accuracy, the simulation based model is developed using MATLAB Simulink which will reduce the actual testing time on real field vehicle.References
